Dalewood Country Homes is located on the outskirts of Glengarriff Village in West Cork. For people who want to tour West Cork, the village of Glengarriff is the perfect base. It is quite near the Ring of Kerry and the Beara Peninsula. From the village, you can also take a boat to visit Garnish Island, a beautiful island that is also known as “Illuaculin” which means island of Holly. The 37-acre island is famous for its impressive collection of plants. It is actually known to many people as an island garden of exceptional beauty. Glengarriff is also famous for having a magnificent view of Bantry Bay, the Glengarriff coastline as well as the mountains that surround it. Dalewood Country Homes has three bedrooms that can accommodate up to five persons with one double room upstairs. There are also two single rooms one of which has a pull out bed that can be used by a fifth occupant. There is a living room that has an open fire and a dining room area with a fully fitted kitchen that contains a cooker, dishwasher, washer/dryer, and a microwave oven. Linen is provided by the hotel but towers are not provided in any of the homes. The house has 3 bedrooms accommodating 5 persons with 1 double room upstairs, bathroom upstarts, 2 single rooms one of which has a pull out bed for the 5th person and also a living room with open fire and dining room area with a fully fitted kitchen containing cooker, dishwasher, microwave, washer/dryer. Linen is provided but towels are not provided in any of the homes. Different activities can be done while you are staying in Dalewood Country Homes. Some of the more popular activities that are available to visitors are: golfing, cycling, boat trips, hill walking, horseback riding, and swims at the beach. Dalewood Country Homes is a great vacation stop in your car trip in Ireland. It’s a great place to recharge after a tiring car travel.
